Late in September, Tim Little, the Vice President of engineering at Retro Studios in Austin, announced on Linked In that he was quitting his job at Retro so he could take a job at Samsung working on GPU technology. Tim Little has been with Retro for 14 years and is credited with working on all of the company’s Donkey Kong related games, the last of which was a port of Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze for the Nintendo Switch in 2018. Who is Tim Little and how does his quilting Retro Studios impact the company? What does it tell us about the future of Donkey Kong and Metroid Prime 4? Why did he leave after 14 years with the company?
Thanks for watching
