How to Use AVADA KEDAVRA Early in Hogwarts Legacy

The unforgivable curse AVADA KEDAVRA is infamous in the Harry Potter franchise and it’s also available to learn LATE in the main game of Hogwarts Legacy. It makes sense that the spell is only unlocked later in the campaign because it is SO overpowered, being capable of making any foe unalive with just one shot!

If you want to embrace your dark side early though, you CAN if you ordered the Deluxe Edition of Hogwarts Legacy. Those players get access to the Dark Arts Battle Arena as soon you’re able to enter free roam and get around the Hogwarts map!

When you enter the Dark Arts arena, all 3 unforgivable spells – Crucio, Imperio and Avada Kedavra are ALL available to cast against waves of enemies! It’s a brilliant way to use the spells EARLY, long before they’re taught to you in the main quest line.

Completing the Dark Arts Arena (of it’s your first battle arena) will also earn you an awesome cosmetic mask that goes perfectly with the sinister powers you’ve just wielded!

Hogwarts Legacy is hands-down going to be one of the games of the year in my opinion and is available now on XBOX Series X|S, Playstation 5 and PC. In April it’ll be available on last generation consoles and then on Nintendo Switch in June 2023!
