The first Diablo game from Blizzard Entertainment is a classic in its own right. During the era of role-playing games in the ’90s, Diablo stood out from other RPGs for its fast-paced, real-time combat sequences and a mapping algorithm that gave slightly different layouts to every player.

Blizzard Entertainment’s follow-up expansions, like Hellfire and Lord of Destructions, as well as its sequels, were all sure-fire hits from the young company. The third Diablo instalment even sold over 30 million units for computers and consoles.
